Extension
My connection with extension work began during my undergraduate studies, when I decided to take part in activities beyond the classroom: programming contests, event organization, and other related projects.
Throughout this path, I developed a strong interest in initiatives that combine teaching, science communication, material production, and the creation of academic culture.
I see extension as an area in which computing can be taught with rigor while still remaining accessible.
This is especially relevant in contexts such as preparing students for more ambitious academic paths.
Desired extension areas
- Foundational training in programming, algorithms, and theoretical computing for high-school and undergraduate students.
- Creation of permanent study and training groups for the Brazilian Olympiad in Informatics and the Maratona SBC de Programação.
- Introductory workshops for first-year students, focused on logical reasoning, reading, and problem solving.
- Production of open support materials for courses in algorithms, programming, data structures, and competitive programming.
Previous projects
- Participation in study groups and competitive training during my undergraduate years.
- Informal and collaborative support for students in programming and foundations-of-computing courses.
- Public work connected to the Maratona SBC de Programação, including years of competitive participation and official commentary.
